Career
More than 35 years in court
She took her law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where she also completed a postgraduate diploma in Legal and Forensic Sciences. She has also completed courses in Finance and Taxation and in Insurance Mediation.
Besides criminal, civil and family cases, she handles regulatory offences and sports law. She also acts in probate inventory proceedings, the court process used to divide an estate when the heirs cannot agree.
Her continuing education follows that practice closely: the general rules on child protection proceedings, abuse of parental responsibilities, insolvency, the guarantor's position, land registration and limitation periods in criminal proceedings.
